Abdulwahab’s Office

The circular economy is a guiding principle for everything Abdulwahab’s Office does.

Investment in people

Abdulwahab’s Office is an Oman-based multinational investment company that operates across various sectors, from banking to events, finance, real estate, marketing, watchmaking and more. With a strong commitment to sustainability, innovation and ethical practices, the company is dedicated to driving positive change in the industry while ensuring a lasting impact on the communities it serves.

Established in 2019, Abdulwahab’s Office is working towards the goals of Oman Vision 2040, which envisages the country as a haven of peace and a promising investment hub, where effective governance flourishes, spurred by precise performance indicators and meaningful community partnership.

In 2023, it became the first company in Oman to sign the UN-supported Principles for Responsible Investment (PRI), setting out its stall as an organisation driven by global environmental, social and governance standards.

Future farm

As part of its approach to responsible business practices, Abdulwahab’s Office has founded Felaij Farm, in the fertile Barka region of northern Oman. Barka is blessed with an ideal balance of sunlight and rainfall, making it an excellent environment for a farm designed from the ground up according to sustainable principles, technical innovation and ethical working practices.

“Every aspect of the farm has been designed with sustainability in mind,” says Hashil Al Aamri, Farming Lead at Abdulwahab’s Office. “The circular economy is a guiding principle for everything Abdulwahab’s Office does. At Felaij Farm, we eliminate waste at all stages of the agricultural cycle, by working with the local community to make sure everything is used.”

The power of potential

Felaij Farm employs skilled workers to farm a broad range of crops, using a mix of the latest agricultural technology and traditional techniques such as crop rotation.

The farm project is a blueprint for responsible investment, creating resilient, inclusive and sustainable businesses.

But Felaij Farm extends beyond agriculture and business. The principle of decent work is central to the philosophy of Abdulwahab’s Office.

“We want Felaij Farm to be a place where people can have decent work,” says Al Aamri. “We want it to be a place where people can reach their full potential. What is so exciting about the Felaij Farm project is that it integrates employment and decent work into a framework of environmental stewardship.”
